🧀 Chevre
November Seasonals:
Savory: "Olive Rosemary" is made with finely diced Kalamata olives and freshly ground rosemary. This chevre would be perfect for your Thanksgiving spread - try a dollop on a crostini for a quick appetizer.
Sweet: "Nutty Pumpkin" is made with locally sourced pumpkin butter and pralined pecans. Lightly sweet it would be great crumbled into a salad or spread on French Toast
🧀 Feta
Greek style, aged 2 months in brine. Available in ¼ or ½ lb portions. First Place, 2019 ADGA National Goat Cheese Competition.
🧀 Bloomy Rinds
Napoleon's Peak – pyramid-shaped ashed bloomy (a favorite!).
Snow Buttons – petite ¼ lb ashed bloomy patty.
Classic Camembert – ooey-gooey perfection.
🧀 Aged Semi-Hard Cheeses - this week we will have:
Shenandoah Summer – This is the closest cheese we have to a Gouda – a bit sharper and firmer than your typical Gouda. Melts well – excited about how this cheese has been aging out – come by for a taste!
Crescendo! – This is our take on Manchego – white flesh juxtaposed against the chocolate brown rind makes this a really pretty cheese for your cheese board.
Winter's End – This tomme is steeped in a local dark stout beer at the time of hooping. The beer gives the cheese a slightly darker color and it ripens with a sharper parmesan-like flavor. These wheels have been aging in our underground aging caves for 13 months.
Goatgurt – spoonable cultured treat with live active cultures.
Goatgurt Smoothies – gut-healthy, drinkable yogurt in Strawberry, Apple Cinnamon & Vanilla.
