Fall abundance has arrived at the Shepherdstown Farmers Market! Find acorn, butternut, honeynut, and spaghetti squash, plus potatoes, sweet potatoes, kale, beets, lettuce, broccoli, pumpkins, and cabbage. Stock up on frozen pastured chicken, pork, goat, duck eggs, sausages, and a full range of chicken cuts. Enjoy breads, pies, pastries, fresh greens, mushrooms, herbal vinegars, teas, honey, beeswax candles, dried flower creations, bulbs, and eucalyptus. Pick up local cheeses, Cajeta caramel, and seasonal favorites perfect for fall meals and gatherings. Come taste, shop, and celebrate the season this Sunday at the Shepherdstown Farmers Market!
Have you spotted Bluebell yet? Bluebell is our market bunny, visiting a different vendor each week. Kids can search for her and choose a small prize when they find her!
Megan Webber Flowers, MeganWe'll have new dried flower creations this week—including moons and stars, hearts, bouquets, and more. They're a beautiful way to enjoy flowers in your home year-round.
It's bulb season and I'll also have several varieties of daffodils and disappearing lily bulbs (Lycoris). It's the perfect time to plant bulbs for blooms in the Spring!
Fresh eucalyptus bunches are also available again this week. Hang a bundle in your shower to activate the essential oils that help relieve congestion, boost mental clarity, and reduce stress.
Red House Farm has frozen pastured chicken this week as fresh chicken season is over. As usual, there will also be pasture raised, free range chicken and duck eggs, pastured goat, pastured woodland heritage pork and Canine Candy, as well as raw dog food and lots of pork, lamb and goat organs and bones. We are sold out of lamb until December.

Alpsiago – This Alpine style cheese has been living her best life in our underground aging caves for a full 14 months. Lovely texture, bits of sharp flavor crystals, great snacking cheese.
Caerphilly – A Welsh cheddar – named after the town in Wales that developed this style of cheddar. Aged 12 months.
Winter's End – This tomme is steeped in a local dark stout beer at the time of hooping. The beer gives the cheese a slightly darker color and it ripens with a sharper parmesan flavor. These wheels have been aging in our underground aging caves for 13 months.
Goatgurt – spoonable cultured treat with live active cultures.
Goatgurt Smoothies – gut-healthy, drinkable yogurt in Strawberry, Apple Cinnamon & Vanilla.

We are at the market the 2nd and 4th Sundays through October and then the 1st and 3rd Sundays in November and December.
We will have 5 different colors of mums at reasonable prices. We will be bringing herbs, houseplants, succulents, and probably the last week of cut flowers.
