Our 2026 Market is WEEKLY this Sunday on South King Street, Shepherdstown, from 9am–1pm.

Heirloom tomatoes, paste tomatoes, eggplant, melons, kales, all kinda peppers, okra, picking cucumbers, beans, potatoes, cabbage, pasture raised chicken, pork, beef, milk, cheese, honey, fresh pasta, cooking herbs, focaccia, flowers, real breads, and so much more! Come and have some fun with family and friends!!

We accept SNAP EBT cards. We can double or triple your withdrawal up to $30. Stop by the Peace in the Valley Herb Farm stand and talk to Cindy for more information.

Blue Mountain Farm, Dave the Kale Master

Green beans, tomatoes, slicing cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplant, basil, Swiss chard, and squash: delicata, honeynut, zucchini, yellow straightneck, pattypan, baby spaghetti.

Rooster Dirt Farm, Logan

Pasture raised chicken bot cuts and whole chickens, spinach and feta chicken sausage, tomato and basil chicken sausage, concentrated bone broth, mini breakfast sausage links, apple and fennel grilling links. Plus bacon, guanciale, ham hocks, mushrooms, pasture raised eggs, and smoked chickens.

Shade’s Farm

Shade’s Farm will have honey, beeswax usefuls, and beekeepers salve.

Shepherd’s Whey Creamery

Shepherd’s Whey artisan goat milk cheeses for this coming weekend:

Chevre: Seasonal Chevre: “Sweet Pepper and Onion” will be our September Seasonal chevre celebrating these late summer beauties. We finely dice sweet peppers and onions, sauté them in olive oil and blend them into our fresh chevre. Thank you Spring Valley for your lovely sweet peppers this week.

Routine Chevres: Basil, Black Pepper and Classic

Feta: Greek style Feta in quarter or half pound portions in the brine, aged in brine 2 months. First Place Feta at the 2019 ADGA National Goat Cheese competition.

Bloomie Rinds:

Napoleon’s Peak – our Pyramid shaped ashed bloomy (my personal favorite of all our cheeses).

Snow Buttons – a cute little 1/4 pound patty of ashed bloomy.

Classic Camembert – a wheel of ooey gooey goodness.

Fresh Ricotta – made fresh each Friday available in 1/3 pound tubs.

Aged Semi-hard cheeses: This week we will have:

Shenandoah Summer – This is the closest cheese we have to a Gouda – a bit sharper and firmer than your typical Gouda. Aged 12 months. Melts well.

Caerphilly – A Welch cheddar – named after the town in Wales that developed this style of cheddar. Aged 12 months.

Potomac Sunrise – Our most awarded cheese taking first place semi hard cheese and Best in Show at the ADGA 2021 National Goat Cheese Competition. This curd washed cheese has a Nutty flavor, melts well. Aged approx. 12 months.

Goatgurt – a spoonable cultured treat with live active yogurt cultures.

Goatgurt Smoothies: A gut healthy drinkable yogurt available in Strawberry, Apple Cinnamon and Vanilla.

Peace in the Valley, Cindy

We’ll have shallots, onions, and cut basil. Also, lettuce and kale starter plants for your fall garden. We have dried flower wreaths, bouquets and mini pumpkins as well as fresh cut flower bouquets in colorful vases.

Sweet corn, cantaloupes, lettuce, summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, beets, tomatoes, onions, new potatoes, cabbage, peppers.

Tabler Student Farm, from Shepherd University Agricultural Innovation Center

Lettuce, tomatoes, squash, beans, potatoes, basil, parsley, Swiss Chard, eggplant, sweet and spicy peppers.

The Cottage of Herbs, Inge

Gourmet Herb Vinegars, 10 different varieties! Excellent on salads, roasted or steamed veggies, slaws, pasta salad, quinoa salad, marinades & more!

Dips & seasoning blends - great with the meats & veggies from the market!

Dipping oil spices! Who doesn’t like to dip nice, warm bread in seasoned olive oil! Also, good on roasted veggies!

Dry rubs! Puts a nice crust on meats & seafood. Made with local Black Dog Coffee & is packed with loads of flavor!

Bean Herb Soup mixes & yes, they are popular!

Loose Teas - We have a nice variety of herbal, green & black tea!

Operating out of Martinsburg under local Cottage Food Law, Pastanauts is bringing small-batch, artisanal pasta directly to the community. We specialize exclusively in fresh pasta—never dried—crafted without any preservatives or additives.

What We Offer

Our current lineup features classic cuts including rigatoni, fusilloni, and fettuccine. We have a new shape debuting this week, Creste Di Gallo, a ridged macaroni with ruffled edges! Please note, gluten-free is not available this week while we solidify a stable source for the flour. Our traditional dough is made with simple, high-quality ingredients: 100% Italian durum wheat semolina, water, and organic eggs.
